......CHANGING LIFE BY EDUCATING

TACO is a dedicated humanitarian child centered development charity without religious, political and governmental affiliation. We want to see long-term improvements in children’s lives and eventually a world where all children can realize their full potential. We will work with African’s poorest families who live in desperate need of the very things that we take for granted, like education, medicine and safe drinking water. Together we will build schools, drill wells, train health workers and teachers to help families support themselves.
With your help we can do even more and build a nation and not just a community. TACO’s work will be possible if more people support us through sponsoring children and donating. In doing so, many children and their entire community will be benefited

As the organization has only just begun; we will start our work in Ghana, working with local communities to meet the needs of children in the most effective way. We will be raising awareness of children's right to education and working in remote communities where there is little access to healthcare.

In Ghana, education is free for children in Primary and Junior Secondary School and yet still some children are unable to attend due to parents not being able to afford uniforms, stationeries, school diners etc…TACO will provide these things for those families.

We are hosting a fundraising luncheon on the 2nd of May 2009 at the Tip Tree Community Hall, Iford, Essex from 2pm – 6pm. This event is aimed to raise money for the school in Antwikrom and also to raise awareness of TACO and our work.

We understand that the recent recession may have a strain on your finances but this is the time these communities also need your help the most, and just remember, every little helps, no matter how small it will go a long way.
